These terms apply to scheduled Renavira retreats — trips we have set the dates for and that you join as an individual. Custom group trips are quoted and contracted separately, and their terms are set out in that contract.
The dates below are the ones for A Return to Yourself: Yoga Renewal Retreat Cozumel, October 18–22, 2027. Every retreat works the same way; only the calendar shifts.
Rates are per person and quoted in US dollars. Airfare is not included.
You can pay in full when you book, or secure your place with a $500 deposit and spread the balance.
Payment plans run by automatic bank transfer (ACH) in 3 or 6 equal monthly payments. Every plan finishes on or before May 31, 2027, so the full amount is with us before we make our final commitments to the resort. Plans are available to guests with a US bank account; if you bank elsewhere, the pay-in-full option is the one to use.
After your payment is received, Renavira will provide a quote for travel insurance which will outline policy details as it pertains to covering the cost of your trip should circumstances arise.
You are not required to purchase travel insurance quoted by Renavira, but you will be required to show proof of policy within 30 days of your booking, or you must complete a liability waiver.
Pay on or before March 31, 2027 to receive the early intention discount of $250 per person. Beginning April 1 standard rates apply.
A retreat is unlike a hotel booking because we are committing to a room block, facilitator, our support staff, ground arrangements as a group, etc. We need to know who is actually coming, early enough to hold those commitments with confidence.
That is what the $500 deposit does. It is non-refundable from the moment we receive it, so it asks the same thing of you whether you pay in full today or spread the balance: a real decision rather than a placeholder. Because every plan completes by May 31, 2027, we know well before our own cancellation date exactly how many people are travelling.
If neither route works for you, write to us before you rule the trip out. We would far rather find an arrangement which works than lose someone who wants to be there. Ask early though, as the closer we get to March 31 the fewer monthly payments are left to spread across, and the less flexibility we will be able to offer.
$500 per person is non-refundable from the moment we receive it, whenever you cancel and whatever the reason.
Cancellations take effect on the date we receive them in writing. See the schedule below:

The same schedule applies if you do not arrive, leave early, or miss part of the retreat. Unused nights, meals and sessions are not refundable.
Up to September 18, 2027 — 30 days before arrival — you may transfer your spot to someone else at no charge. They take on the booking as it stands, including everything already paid. Tell us in writing who is coming and we will handle the rest.
Sharing rates assume two people in the room. For those traveling solo, we will do our best to accommodate roommate preferences and will provide resources to facilitate communication between attendees prior to arrival.
If you book a double rate as a solo traveler, and we are unable to partner you with another solo traveler, we will work with you as best we can, but additional charges may apply.
Scheduled retreats run on a minimum group size. If we do not reach it, we may cancel the retreat. If by June 1st, 2027, we have not met our minimum requirement, we will notify registered attendees of our intent to cancel on June 20, 2027.
If Renavira cancels, your $500 deposit is refundable too — up to the point we have committed it to the property. Once committed we cannot recover it, and from then the schedule above applies in full.
The refund schedule above applies to cancelations from any party (resort, facilitator, travel company, or guest). We commit to the resort at fixed points before the retreat and remain liable for those payments even if the retreat does not run, so a cancellation does not unlock money we have already committed. Deciding by June 20, 2027 ensures we are able to provide you with a full refund. While $500 is non-refundable, should the cancelation not come from the guest, Renavira will credit your $500 towards another retreat or small group experience in one of our other destinations.
You may instead move what you have paid to another Renavira retreat. We do not reimburse airfare, visas, or anything else you booked independently — which is the reason travel insurance is a condition of attending. A policy bought early is what covers you for the part of this that we cannot.
Our retreats are led by named facilitators, chosen for their particular expertise in their respective disciplines. If your facilitator cannot attend, we will tell you as soon as we know and you may cancel for a refund under the terms above.
A facilitator withdrawing does not mean the trip stops. The accommodation, meals, transfers and the island are unaffected. Renavira will make every effort to find a replacement facilitator. However, we cannot guarantee a replacement matching the previously arranged facilitator's credentials. Guests will be notified as soon as possible under these condistions and Chris Carter, founder, will work with the attendees on solutions.
This package is not available to residents of California, Florida, Washington, Hawaii or Iowa. If you live in one of those states and would like to attend, write to concierge@renavira.travel and we will take it from there.
Travel insurance is required to attend this trip unless a waiver of liability has been signed. Renavira will send a quote upon receipt of your booking. You are not required to purchase your travel insurance from us, but will be required to show proof of travel insurance or a signed liability waiver 30 days after booking. A policy with trip cancellation and interruption cover protects 100% of your travel costs, including what we are unable to refund, as well as your airfare, which we do not book.
What it costs. Premiums track the total trip cost you insure — the retreat, your airfare, and anything else you choose to cover — along with your age and the level of cover. As a guide, a comparable plan has quoted between $129 and $285 per person. Where you land depends on your room, whether you insure your flights, and what you add. These are indicative only; rates change, and a quote this far out is not a price.
We will send quotes from Faye, Allianz and Arch RoamRight so you can compare. You are free to buy elsewhere.
One timing note. Some carriers only waive pre-existing medical conditions if the policy is bought within 14 days of your first payment to us. Our own deadline for showing proof is 30 days, so if pre-existing conditions matter to you, buy inside the shorter window rather than ours.
Your rate covers the room, breakfast and lunch daily, non-alcoholic drinks, and the full yoga and meditation programme, including the listed guest excursions. It does not cover:
Anything you charge to your room is settled directly with the resort at checkout.
Hurricanes, government restrictions, resort closures and similar events can make a retreat impossible to run. If that happens we will offer you the choice between moving your payment to a future retreat and taking a refund of whatever we are able to recover from the resort and our suppliers.
Email concierge@renavira.travel. Put the retreat name and your booking name in the message. We will confirm in writing within two business days, and the date we received your email is the date that counts against the schedule above.
Refunds go back to the card or account you paid from, and take up to 14 business days to appear.
